The Durango Lodge

We had a very lovely stay, the hotel was popular, clean, with ideal location down the street to the Gaslight cinema. The venue had friendly and efficient staff members. Location: the hotel was really close to many other restaurants, shops and businesses in the downtown Durango area. We liked sleeping 2 nights in this property...

the rooms were new-fashioned & well-kept with a large bathroom.

Perfect for families looking for comfort

The staff here was fantastic they treated us like family and the location was just steps away from the Railroad Depot , made it easy for our adventures in town I mean we could walk everywhere including the local shops and restaurants

It wasn't low-cost but still reasonable for what we got

The location offers easy walking access to the train station and Main Street. Both the room and the pool area provided a sense of privacy, although the bathroom light did burn out , quickly addressed by the friendly staff. Basic breakfast options were available, but I appreciated the desserts that guests enjoyed.

Our stay was perfect! The breakfast had delicious options like fresh fruit and Jimmy Dean sandwiches, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the grassy area for our dog was a huge plus.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location

I appreciated the comfort of the room, especially the pillows! Relaxing on the balcony was a lovely start to mornings. The hotel is walking distance to Main Street. Don't miss out on enjoying the small pool area.

Consider requesting a box fan if your room gets warm. It helped us stay cool during hotter days.

The location is fantastic. The room was clean and spacious, allowing us to relax comfortably after a day of adventure. While the breakfast options were limited, it sufficed to start the day. It was a pleasant stay for our family getaway.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Mostly packaged junk without any fresh options or hot dishes. The parking lot was tight and felt cramped for the number of guests. The A/C seemed to struggle during the hottest part of the day, and the filter could definitely use a clean.

This was a solid selection for an overnight stop in Durango with the best value. The location is great, just a 1/4 block from the train depot. Parking might be a challenge, so plan accordingly.
